Wii Fit INSTOCK at Argos!

I know this isn’t really a deal, in fact its selling at the full retail price, but Wii Fit is so hard to find that somewhere just having stock is news worthy! Plus these are selling on eBay for much more than the retail price so this is a good deal.
You can’t reserve and pick at the store, its for delivery only, so there is a delivery charge of £5.95, but this is still about your best option if you want a Wii Fit now.

Wii on the pitch!

This HMV sale really does have some good offers. PES 2008 for the Wii brings football to the Wii with a twist. Rather than just copying over the controls from the standard console versions the Wii version uses a new control method that allows you to control ‘off the ball’ players as well. Players can now run into space and get on the end of your cross, all under your control. It takes some getting used to, but works really well in the end. Nice to see something different in the football arena (stadium!)
This game has been holding its £25-£30 value for a long time now and I’ve been waiting for it to fall. HMV has it at £14.99 which is a great price and well worth it. Back of the net! (sorry)

As promised, I’d just like to point you in the direction of one of the better deals in the current HMV sale. Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock (with wireless controller) for £39.99. Selling on eBay for about £55 so this is a great deal.

Wii-lly crazy eBay prices

How many games can you think of that are consistently cheaper to buy new than used? Probably not many as its usually market forces that drive down the prices on eBay.
However the Nintendo Wii has a strange relationship with eBay. Its so mass market and the console and games have been in short supply for so long that eBay prices for Wii stuff are still slightly strange. Many prices on eBay are currently more than the new price in store, a situation not helped by the fact that many eBay sellers have been buying up retail stock to sell for profit on eBay, taking advantage of stock shortages.
